Johanna&Ben- Highfield Hall in North Wales (located in Northop, Flintshire)
Johanna and Ben’s wedding will forever hold a very special place in my heart. Set against the stunning backdrop of Highfield Hall in North Wales, their celebration was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the quaint village of Northop and surrounded by rolling countryside, this Grade II listed Regency-style country manor—built in the early 19th century—offered an exquisite blend of timeless elegance and modern charm.
From the very start, the day was filled with laughter and joy. The morning was devoted to celebrating sisterhood, a beautiful thread woven deeply into Johanna’s story. We danced, smiled, and shared heartfelt moments, basking in the warmth of connection. As the ceremony approached, the skies shifted from a moody English morning to a radiant sunny afternoon, perfectly mirroring the happiness that filled the air.
The outdoor ceremony was breathtaking. Tears and smiles glistened on every guest’s face, quietly telling the story of love and unity. A particularly touching highlight was the incorporation of Hungarian traditions, honouring Johanna’s heritage. Her sister crafted a delicate red headpiece for her, and together, Johanna and Ben shared the meaningful ritual of cutting the Hungarian bread—a moment I was truly honoured to witness.
Before I left, Johanna pulled me aside with words I will never forget, a precious memory I will always cherish. This extraordinary celebration of love was nothing short of pure magic, and I loved every single minute of it.
